Balakrishna, family members call on Naidu
Film hero Nandamuri Balakrishna met Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu, here on Sunday. Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari and son Lokesh also met him at his camp and enquired about his health. The TD Gudivada incharge and former legislator, Ravi Venkateswara Rao, was also present when Balakrishna met Chandrababu Naidu.
Chandrababu Naidu is touring the Gudivada and Pamarru Assembly segments of Krishna district as part of his Vastunna Meekosam padayatra, where the native places of Nandamuri family are located. The TD chief, along with the family members and Balakrishna conducted his padayatra from Komaravolu village, the native place of Balakrishna’s mother.
Addressing villagers Chandrababu Naidu promised more welfare sops to poor, women, youth and dalits and alleged that the ruling Congress had neglected the welfare of these sectors. He said that the TD would revive the special loans for women at 25 paise interest. He further said that the TD government would increase the primary health centers in the State, add more funds for the medical and health department. He asked the women to throw out the Congress from power.
