TDP lambasted the Chittoor municipal corporation for its failure to provide amenities required by the people here at the Nagarapalika general body meeting held on Monday.

Chittoor District president Jangalapalle Srinivasulu, State council member B.N. Rajasimhulu and district vice-president Nani alleged that authorities were not taking steps to resolve the drinking water scarcity was prevalent in the historic town.

They criticised that poor sanitation in the town was also affecting the health of the people.
