TDP leader to undertake a day’s padayatra
State Telugu Desam Party secretary M. Srinivas Goud will undertake a day long ‘padayatra’ on March 2 from NTR statue here to Renuka Yellamma temple, in Darveshipuram village in Nalgonda district to mark the completion of 150 days ‘Vastunna Meekosam Padayara’ of party president N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Goud told a press conference here that he would offer prayers to the Goddess seeking her blessings and strength to. Naidu to complete the yatra across the State successfully.
He alleged that the Government was adopting a negligent attitude in tackling the problems highlighted by Mr. Naidu, during his interaction with the people.
The Telugu Desam Party leader claimed that the walkathon had so far evoked a good response and that educated and enlightened persons were keen that Mr. Naidu should return to power after the elections. He alleged that the State’s development had retarded during the nine-year Congress rule.
