Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday promised to take care of the interests of the Madigas on the long-pending issue of categorisation of SCs in the State.

Sri. Naidu, while taking a memorandum from a delegation of leaders from the party Dalit wing, at  Ongole  assured them that  the Polit Bureau would take an appropriate decision on the issue shortly.

“I will take care of the interest of Madigas. You should strive to strengthen the party among Dalits,” he told party SC wing district president Kommuri Ravichandra and others SC leaders.

He said TDP has been always at the fore front in protecting the rights of dalits and also provide them with safeguards in administration and society from feudalists
