Senior TDP leader K Yerrannaidu described that the social justice in the state is only possible with their party and it was evident with the reservations given to women and Backward Communities when TDP was in power.
The Chittoor district-level BC meeting that was held here on Saturday discussed about the BC declaration announced by its chief N.Chandrababu Naidu recently in Hyderabad, where he announced to allot 100 tickets out of 294 to BCs in the next general elections.
Addressing the party members in the meeting, Yerrannaidu predicted that TDP will return to power in the next general elections and all the major political parties fear the TDP’s BC declaration.
He said that half of the tickets will be allotted to BC candidates in the forthcoming local body elections. With the announcement of BC declaration by Chandrababu, almost all the political parties are struggling internally to face the situation. Many BC leaders in those parties are trying to bring pressure on high commands of respective parties, he added.
Sri Yerran Naidu said the real social justice is possible only with TDP which has spread awareness among the BCs and hence the latest BC declaration, Half of the population is from backward communities and they should be recognised and respected in all political parties, But unfortunately the ruling Congress party has ignored the welfare of BCs and every BC individual should understnad the dirty and double dealing face of Congress, he said.
He appealed to the BC people to fight for the rights and demands and it will be possible only when they are united. The BC declaration announced by Chandrababu has caused sensation throughout the country.
