TDP leaders, who were staging indefinite hunger strike for the past four days demanding to solve people’s problems in the district, withdrew their protest at Collectorate in Kadapa on Friday. District Collector V Anil Kumar offered lemon juice to the leaders to mark the completion of their hunger strike.

He said that the Ministers held a meeting with managements of cement factories over the TDP leaders’ demands and they responded positively to reduce the cement prices soon. The state government also taking steps to reduce power cuts, he added.
