TDP President Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu today expressed shock & dismay on reports of death of 9 persons in rain hit areas of Hyderabad city.

In a press release issued at NTR Bhavan this afternoon the TDP President said the casualties of rain havoc exposed the lack of preparedness of Kiran govt.

Sri Naidu said neglect of roads & drains by 8 years of Congress government had led to the present crisis.

He urged the GHMC, State government & the CMO officials to take steps to repair the roads & drains immediately to contain further loss of life & property.

Sri Naidu urged the Govt to provide ex-gratia compensation to bereaved families & relief to others affected in rain havoc.
