The YSRC is leaving no stone upturned to ensure the release of Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy from the jail to pursue their political gains to a natural conclusion - usurping power in state.

In total disregard to the judicial and ethical standards the counsels of the Jagan had been lambasting the investigating agencies   inside court and also making all out effort to paint them black  in public.

With the courts not giving bail to party president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSR Congress is in a spot of bother over restructuring party units and deciding the future course in the aftermath of the byelections. According to YSRC leaders, there is a greater need than ever to rebuild the party organisation,as several leaders from other political parties have joined it.

The lack of mass programmes like Odarpu or drives to increase membership after the bypoll victories  has  began to tell their impact on the party built on purely on personality cult of YSR and Jagan. Now that Jagan appears to be in jail for more time, the party leadership is worried over the loss of popular gains in bye elections and hence exploiting every opportunity to malign TDP and other opponents.

Party leaders say that if Jagan continues to be in jail for another 45 days, the YSRC will be doomed. After three charge sheets, the CBI plans to hoist another two to three charge sheets, all aimed to build a firm case against Jagan. Even the campaign against the CBI joint director had not yielded desired fruits to Jagan either in public or in courts.

Jagan attempt to gain sympathy and bail on grounds of 'Press freedom' had fallen flat. So has his attempt to gain liberty in name of being an MP and president of a party. Legal luminaries and strategists of Jagan have begun to scout for more room and causes to some how get him out. ' Without Jagan on roads, our  party cadres would melt away'  seems to be their argument.There is talk of Jagan handing over the party reigns fully to his mother or sister Sharmila Reddy for the time being.

This is part of series attempts made by the YSRC leadership by appealing to Prime Minister and Congress president for show of 'lineince towards'. This is  the third series of  meetings of Vijayamma since last two years with congress high command. The happenings stink of attempts to nullify the huge corrupt and criminal acts of YSR and YS Jagan through political mollification.

But  the congress leadership is unhappy over the bye poll campaign of Jagan in which the delhi durbar had been blamed for YSR's  helicopter death. So is the Sonia gandhi camp furious over a 30 minute Sakshi program on Sonia- Rahul telecast in 2011.
