TDP President Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu today condemned the lathi charge on fishermen in the fishermen village near NTPC on Thursday.

In a statement issued at NTR bhavan late night yesterday the TDP president said  it was painful and tragic that the poor fishermen of Paravada whose livelihood  was affected by the power generation plant and demanding jobs in the NTPC were caned  by the Jawans of CISF.

Demanding the centre and the public sector to resolve the problems raised by the fishermen and farmers for jobs the TDP president said a delegation of TDP MPs would soon visit the villages around NTPC in Paravada  mandal of the Visakhapatnam district.
