Telugu Desam Party Khammam district unit has conducted constituency level mini-Mahanadus in Khammam, Sattupalli and Wyra towns respectively on Tuesday.
As per the DP high command specific instructions to the district leaders the mini mahanadus were held to boost the morale of the party cadres ahead of the coming municipal and local body elections.

Nara Lokesh, son of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu, said that youth in the State would have no future if the Telugu Desam Party did not come to power in 2014 elections.
Addressing a constituency-level party workers’ meeting of Deverkadra Assembly segment (mini-Mahanadu) at Kothakota he said the Congress government in the State was completely submerged in corruption. Right from the grass-root levels, Congress leaders were indulging in money making driving industrialists away from the State towards Gujarat due to rampant corruption.

NRI supporters of TDP in Atlanta (US) celebrated the birth anniversary of N.T. Rama Rao by organising a Mini-Mahanadu on May 19. NRI Mallik Medarametla presided over the function. TDP State (A.P) Secretary Mannava Subba Rao participated as chief guest.
On the occasion, Subba Rao said the TDP’s staging a comeback was a historic necessity as people could no longer put up with the Congress party.

TDP activists staged a demonstration at Ambedkar statue here on Monday demanding expulsion of the tainted Ministers from the Cabinet.
Addressing the party workers, Guntur West constituency in-charge Y. Durga Rao alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to protect the Ministers in spite of their names figuring in the CBI charge-sheet in the disproportionate assets case of Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and activists staged a protest in Kurnool asking the Governor to dismiss the tainted Ministers. The protesters burnt an effigy of the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy saying that he was reluctant to remove the Ministers from his Cabinet.
Somisetty Venkateswarlu, who led the protest, asked why the Congress party was lenient to the State Ministers when the Central Ministers were sacked on corruption charges.
